We’re setting up the Hilton Center with a Water Damage Restoration Demonstration Area to EXPERIENCE multi-level flooding, followed by the restoration process and record keeping. We will use all of the tools in our tool bag to demonstrate the latest technology in the water damage restoration industry. There will be presentations from the following Sponsors: Drying Concrete Floors, Phoenix Restoration Equipment, Dri-Eaz will demonstrate their remote monitoring process and show their meters for documentation, FLIR and ExTech will demonstrate the use of thermal imaging cameras to inspect wet structures and show the latest technology in monitoring devices being used to map the drying process, Home Depot will demonstrate the use of Power Tools on restoration jobs learning first had from the manufacturers of the tools for proper usage, SunBelt Rentals will discuss the importance of getting properly trained and certified in the use of Scaffolding and Aerial Work Platforms, Fireline Systems will bring in their full content cleaning station ! and let you experience the latest ways to clean contents items and Esporta Wash System will demonstrate live their technology that cleans contents that have normally not been salvaged especially, smoke, soot, and category 1, 2 and 3 contents. The Cleaning EXPERIENCE will include hands-on area rug cleaning. We will have Several full setups with expert instruction and demonstrations including dusting, wringing, a wash pit and drying apparatus. You will hear from: Orbitec Solutions and Rug Badger, Rug Master with Aaron Groseclose and Ellen Amirkhan and Centrum Force. We will also include a Truck Mounted Cleaning Plant Forum and Panel where you can see what is new in the latest technology for truck mounted cleaning plants and hear what the future of these units may be. The 2010 Convention will feature four keynote speakers:

THE EXPERIENCE at CONNECTIONS Convention will give you the hands-on opportunity to learn and practice techniques that are used in our industry every day and to learn New and Innovative techniques used in our industry.

We will also flood sheetrock and other types of wall materials to experience drying and testing and then we will review the results. Fireline Systems will bring in their full content cleaning station and let you experience the latest ways to clean contents items. Sunbelt Rentals will bring in some major power to teach us how to properly set up generators on job sites. We’ll work with Dri-Eaz remote monitoring, and hand-held devices from several sources, recording measurements and applying readings to the job, and following through on the monitoring process to complete the drying properly.

The Cleaning EXPERIENCE will include hands-on area rug cleaning. We will have a full setup with expert instruction and demonstrations including dusting, wringing, a wash pit and drying apparatus. In our 5-station Upholstery Cleaning EXPERIENCE, our team of experts will demonstrate and teach the best practices and tools for wet and dry cleaning upholstered fabrics. In our Carpet Cleaning EXPERIENCE, you can try the best equipment and tools on the market. Shaw Carpet will be Wednesday and we will clean both residential and commercial carpet with both wet and dry cleaning methods and equipment … AND MUCH MORE
