DKI Restotech and CFI have joined forces to bring our CFI and DKI members a wide array of affordable classes including cleaning, remediation, inspection and marketing. To compliment the learning experience, CFI and DKI has built new training rooms at this location so students can learn in a realistic environment which allows for a hands-on cleaning, remediation and restoration experience.

Attendees will qualify for 1 IICRC approved continuing education credit. This course will cover topics such as board-ups, material and adhesive selection and application, preliminary surface documentation and protection, airlocks, containment panel fabrication, floating containments, box-outs and lids, airflow management and portable contents decontamination hoods. A must to attend for those interested in eliminating surface damages caused by containment installations or for those who would like to dramatically improve containment appearance and stability on remediation and restoration projects. Attendees will qualify for 1 IICRC CEC and will receive a course manual and a certificate of completion.

Instructors Ken & Julius Horvath (45+ years combined experience) will provide you with an understanding of heat drying. Part classroom and part hands on, they show you how to easily increase your results by adding heat to your drying setup. Highlights include how to “Heat Dry” using dehumidifiers, wall drying systems, air filtration, tenting, floating, drying containments and tricks of the heat drying trade. Learn why heat is already the major factor in your drying process and how you can easily increase your drying performance and reduce tear out by understanding this simple process.

Aramsco’s Don Kuk will give a presentation on personal protection equipment, including respiratory and dermal protection and how and when to use it.
